A projection target for visible working commentary — translucent by default, darkening on hover or while the agent streams. Not raw internal reasoning.
Quiet (default) — hover to darken:
Considering whether the motif lands here or a beat earlier. The lighthouse vigil mirrors the narrator's watch.
Active (forced — as when the agent is typing):
Composing the annotation on ¶2 — the turn hinges on the door state.
